The hotel was fabulous. the room was great-sized. the beds were comfortable. Got a room with a bathtub. the location was strategic and quiet, just off central Montbéliard, close to the center of the city and the town center.

This nicely decorated hotel was in central location right in the centre. It was also close enough to the old fortress and the old part of the city, lots of restaurants nearby and central Montbéliard. We had a good sized bedroom. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus.

This place offers modern amenities like air conditioning and an electronic key card in the double room beside tea/coffee making tools, and a beautiful room décor with a comfortable bed, set in a great location with a very friendly staff.

This was my second stay at La Balance and just as comfortable and clean as I remember it. Lovely room with combination of old and new. Good breakfast and secure parking.Will no doubt stay again in future.
Did find the bed a little short, I'm over 6ft, with a foot board so found my feet would hit the board occasionally and wake me. Not a problem in the room I had last visit so may be ask for a room without that sort of bed.

Beautiful old hotel in the centre of the town. Good parking area. Good breakfast.
We booked a double room but the bed was only 140. Towels in the bathroom only for 1 person but the young lady in the reception desk helped us to get another set. This room was perfect for one person but not for two.
